The RACA is not only designed for expierienced ultra cyclists, but also the ideal event for beginners
and adventurers. Our time limits allow the night rest periods and breaks to be well planed.

With two pre-defined routes, you can explore the country's most beautiful and spectacular mountains and regions without relying on outside help. You are your own boss, your own mechanic, your own cook and your own guide.
You decide how fast, how far and how often you ride, where you eat, where you sleep and what you experience.
You are free to create your own adventure, but you are also ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.

The Race Across Austria offers you different ways to choose your adventure. You can choose between a 1000 km, 500 km route from east to west, a 1000 km, 700 km, 300 km route from north to south or a 2000 km route around Austria.
You can start alone or in pairs, depending on whether you prefer to ride solo or in a team. You can choose between two time limits, depending on whether you prefer a race or an adventure.
You can also choose between two gravel days if you prefer to ride on gravel rather than tarmac.

The Race Across Austria is a self-organised cycle race, but you are not alone. The organiser offers you a comprehensive race package that guarantees safety, comfort and service. You get a start number cycling cap, GPS tracker, GPX track, gate map, base camp, drop bags available, luggage transport, finisher trophy, t-shirt, beer, goodies, prize money and a finisher party. You will also be part of a big RACA family that will support, guide and celebrate you.

THE IDEA - THE TEAM
The idea was born when Steff Wagner drove his fourth
world record the WUCA TransAustria East-West and he
and his team could not get it out of their heads.
