The ultimate cycling adventure across Austria
The Race Across Austria is a self-supported ultra-distance cycling race that takes participants through some of Austria's most beautiful and spectacular mountains and regions. The race offers different routes and editions suitable for experienced ultra cyclists as well as beginners and adventurers. The time limits make it possible to plan the night rest phases and breaks, but the clock does not stop. The Race Across Austria is more than just a race, it is an experience full of emotions and new friendships.
There are three editions of the Race Across Austria:
RACA EAST-WEST, RACA NORTH-SOUTH, RACA 2000.
The east to west edition goes from Nickelsdorf to Feldkirch, the north to south edition from Luftenberg an der Donau to the northernmost point Haugschlag and to the southernmost point of Austria the Seebergsattel and back,
The 2000 edition goes clockwise around the country.
The following distances are available 1000 km, 700 km, 500 km, 300 km.
There are also two GRAVEL DAYS in Vorarlberg and Upper Austria, each covering 100 km and 2000 metres of altitude.
