RACE ACROSS AUSTRIA
The ultimate cycling adventure through Austria
The Race Across Austria is a self-supported ultra-distance cycling race that takes participants through the most beautiful and spectacular mountains and regions of Austria. The race offers different routes and editions suitable for experienced ultra cyclists as well as beginners and adventurers. The time limits make it possible to plan the night rest phases and breaks well, but the clock does not stop. The Race Across Austria is more than just a race, it is an experience with many emotions and new friendships.
The Race Across Austria has three editions:
RACA EAST TO WEST, RACA NORTH-SOUTH, RACA GRAVEL DAYS
The EAST TO WEST edition goes from Nickelsdorf to Feldkirch, the NORTH-SOUTH edition goes from Linz to the northernmost point, to the southernmost point and to the center of Austria.
The following distances are available: 1000 km, 700 km, 500 km, 300 km.
In addition, there are the GRAVEL DAYS in Vorarlberg and Upper Austria, each covering 100 km and 2000 m elevation gain, and GRAVEL ULTRA 300, which leads along the Iron Curtain to the northernmost point of Haugschlag and back again.
The Race Across Austria is an excellent opportunity to test your endurance, strength and mental power and to discover the beauty and diversity of Austria.

THE IDEA - THE TEAM
The idea was born when Steff Wagner drove his fourth
world record the WUCA TransAustria East-West and he
and his team could not get it out of their heads.
